The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally released its zonal formula ahead of its national elective convention fixed for March 26.
The zoning formula was contained in a statement issued by Salisu Na’inna Ɗambatta, APC publicity director, on Wednesday.
Dambatta said the recommendations of the zoning were approved by the caretaker committee on Tuesday.
“During its regular meeting on March 8, 2022, the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) approved the recommendations of the Committee on Zoning,” he said.
TheCable had reported the details of the zoning forumla which President Muhammadu Buhari endorsed on March 1.
Adamu Abdullahi, former governor of Nasarawa state, is the consensus candidate for the national chairmanship position which is zoned to the north-central.
