Issues on the zoning of the 2023 presidency by the two major political parties in the country dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) may throw open its 2023 presidential ticket to all eligible members irrespective of geo-political zones. The newspaper says gunmen killed 24 people in Kaduna and Niger communities.
