The review of the vertical revenue allocation formula by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that the national assembly has commenced the process to appeal the court judgment which ordered the removal of section 84(12) of the Electoral Act, 2022. The newspaper says family members of passengers abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna train staged a protest at the federal ministry of transportation in Abuja.
