Reports on the national executive council (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scheduled for today dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says the Petroleum and Natural Gas Sector Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has blamed soldiers and other security agents protecting pipelines for continued crude oil theft. The newspaper reports the federal government will penalise airlines selling tickets in dollars.
