Issues on scarcity of petrol in some parts of the country dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that residents of Abuja, Niger and Nasarawa are going through troubles getting petrol — and that the product now sells for N400 per litre at the parallel market. The newspaper says the death toll in Yaba building collapse has risen to five.
