Reports on the dismissal of the suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the presidential ticket of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that all is now set for the May 29 inauguration as the supreme court has dismissed the suit seeking to nullify the ticket that produced President-elect Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, vice president-elect, in the 2023 presidential election. The newspaper says the presidency said ministers will not be allowed to leave office with their official vehicles.

The Nation reports that Tinubu said the planned removal of petrol subsidy and multiple exchange rates may pose initial challenges for his administration.
