Sympathisers have thronged the palace of Lamidi Adeyemi, the late Alaafin of Oyo, to pay their last respect.
The longest-reigning monarch passed away on Friday night at Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
When TheCable visited the palace in Oyo, sympathisers were seen outside and within the compound.
A condolence register has been opened at the palace.
The burial of the late monarch will take place by 4pm today.
